Almost.....almost....

Okay, I wasn't going to say anything until I had the photos to prove it, BUT...

My new 2009 Genuine Buddy 125 is on it's way to Richmond as we speak!!!!

It's tangerine.

I'm getting the chrome accessory package that Genuine is offering for this season. It will have the front and rear racks, the footpegs and rear chrome fender, and the color-matched topcase. (I am not getting the windshield or the front bumper -- don't want them)

I canNOT wait til next week.

My parents are not aware of this latest development (well, they are now, as I just posted this to my Facebook page). My parents are not motorcycle enthusiasts in the least.

Thank you Chelsea. I am so glad to have supported your shop, and even happier that I am joining the ranks of the scooter-loving, scooter-owning public!

Pictures to come.

Let me be third to congratulate you on your wise purchase. You are going to have a lot of fun with it. The Buddy is an excellent choice, too bad they don't offer them in Canada.
Personally, I wouldn't ride without a windshield. I find that is a safety feature to keep rocks and sand away, and in the rain it keeps you much dryer. It also creates less turbulance as you ride and most often gives you a higher top end speed. You would be very surprised how many rocks get thrown up from those large trucks or how bees get into your helmet.
Don't worry what people say. Many have their own biases and try to force their opinions onto others. Live your own life and you will be happier.
Enjoy, we await your future adventures
